Thank you for purchasing our footwear.
Here are some tips to ensure that your shoes last longer, retain their appearance and remain comfortable to wear.
Leather is a natural material and requires regular care.
If soiled, allow the mud to dry first before cleaning.
Remove the dried mud with a blunt instrument and dab off the remaining dirt with a clean damp cloth.
Apply a quality shoe cream or wax polish to clean the leather uppers, then buff with a dry clean cloth or soft brush.
Frequent use of stain/water protector will maintain the appearance.
Do not use a wire brush as this may damage the surface of the leather.
Clean with either a stiff nylon or rubber brush.
To remove stains, rub carefully using either soapy water or a suede shampoo.
Expect a slight colour change.
Do not wear the same shoes two days in a row as shoes can take a whole day to dry out.
Perspiration build up is a major reason for material failure.
Never put wet shoes in front of a fire, near a heater or out in the direct sunlight as excessive heat causes premature damage to the leather and soles.
Heat may also negatively affect the bond between the leather upper and the sole.
For prolonged shoe life, it is best to let them dry naturally at room temperature.
